SW!NG OUT, directed and co-conceived by Caleb Teicher, is the world’s most prominent and critically-acclaimed presentation of present-day Lindy Hop & Vernacular Jazz Dance (“Swing Dance”). Produced by Joyce Theater Productions, SW!NG OUT brings 12 of the world’s best swing dancers in concert with a stellar 10-piece big band, featuring new choreography and improvisations by some of the brightest lights in Swing today.
SW!NG OUT’s premiere 2-week season at The Joyce Theater in 2021 was a NYTimes Critics’ Pick and became an overnight sensation in the dance world. In the years following, a holiday season spinoff (A Very SW!NG OUT Holiday) premiered in 2024, and the company has toured to over 20 cities including:Los Angeles, California (Ahmanson Theater, The Music Center LA)

Alongside other ancillary projects (the education program SW!NG OUT One-to-One and the new grant-giving program SW!NG OUT Community Fund), Caleb’s production has forever changed the trajectory and footprint of Lindy Hop in United States’ performing arts sector.
