by submission only (email@example.com)
CT&Co is seeking highly skilled tap dancers for upcoming NYC and touring engagements. Paid rehearsals and performances.
Dancers interested in auditioning should email with a brief letter of interest, a brief dance video, and resumé (optional) to CompanyManager@CalebTeicher.net
Note: Dancers cannot be accommodated at the audition unless confirmed via email.
Do I have to take the workshop to audition?
No! They’re separate events that are happening on the same day.
I’m a jazz/something else dancer, not a tap dancer! Can i audition?
Right now, we’re only seeking tap dancers. Next time!
Auditions make me nervous!
Same. Not to worry — there won’t be any cuts. I’ll teach one (or two) segments from CT&Co’s rep and we’ll go in small groups. It’ll be like a class, but the pace of learning will be quite high.
Why are you teaching a workshop?
I haven’t taught in NYC in years! I’ve learned a lot in the past couple years about how I dance, and I’d like to share some of those ideas with you.
Why are you holding an audition?
I’d like to have the opportunity to meet tap dancers with whom I’m not already familiar. Company rosters that are filled exclusively from prior connection and referrals keep certain people from receiving opportunities. An audition is a great way to meet new dancers and for you to decide whether the company’s work interests you as a dancer!
